NMEA Anschutz Coursebus converter is used to NMEA heading data to Anschutz course bus data format. It also converts Anschutz Coursebus data to NMEA heading and ROT data.
Ability to continue with the data provided from the second input in case of failure. For example, if the gyro compass fails, navigation is continued with GPS or satelite compass data.
In the case of replacing the installed defective Anschutz gyro compass, by converting the NMEA data from the device to be installed to the Anschutz course bus format, you can quickly operate the repeaters and other devices using the Anschutz course bus protocol untouched. You do not have to pull cables and install new devices. In this way, the installed devices are not affected by the replacement. This saves time and costs.
NMEA Anschutz Coursebus converter accepts HDT, ROT, THS telegrams to convert signal to Coursebus data. Default input speed is 4800bps, output speed is 9600bps. Different input-output speed options can be adjusted with DIP switches on the board.
The NTAC-24 can be powered within the range of 9~32 VDC. The nominal voltage of 24 VDC is advised for powering the device in normal operation. Power input port has a protection for incorrect polarity connection of the supplying voltage.
It is support STD-20 and STD-22 gyrocompass. The converter has been tested on STD-20 and STD-22 gyro systems.
